Hey there, my name is Chelsi Kottwitz, I'm an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Bodybuilding Specialist, Business Owner, Mompreneur and founder of Build With Chels. When I'm not in the gym training clients or behind a laptop cheering on my online fitness community, I enjoy time with my husband, Brandon and my son, Kingston. I come from a sports background playing softball, volleyball, dance and cheer-leading teams. After suffering from a major car accident at the age of 16, I was left with a broken back, elbow, wrist, knee problems, vertigo, a concussion and my confidence was completely ripped from me. I was challenged both mentally and physically to recover from my injuries. It wasn't too much longer after my accident, through physical therapy and recovery that I found my love for lifting weights. Now, fast-forward about 15 years; I continue my journey teaching others how to stay positive and energetic through life's curve-balls. Up until 2021, I worked in the corporate world as a Finance Manager for a dealership and Industrial Trades Manager for a staffing company before starting my first business. Building my own business from the ground up on pennies mixed with long hours, wifey and mama duties at home, and everything in-between has taught me the ways to workout efficiently and in a timely manner. This is why I know it is possible to get and stay in shape as working, mothers. If I can do it, so can you! The best part is I have all the resources, tips and tricks to get into shape while balancing everything as a mom, wife, and career-woman. I train my clients on how to eat and train for sustainability around their busy schedules. Many of us have schedules full of careers, kids, family members, sports, work events, grocery shopping, day to day home tasks, etc. I understand that these tasks can come in-between you and your health goals. My job is to help you incorporate simple habits into your day to day plan just like I've done with my own self so that you don't miss out on the benefits to living a healthy and plentiful life...and hopefully make you laugh here and there.
