Hey there! I'm Chelsi Kottwitz, an ISSA Certified Elite Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Bodybuilding Specialist, and the owner of Build With Chels and MamaRilla Sportswear. When I'm not in the gym training clients or behind my laptop cheering on my online fitness community, I love spending time with my husband, Brandon, and my son, Kingston. With a background in sports, including softball, volleyball, dance, and cheerleading, fitness has always been a significant part of my life. At 16, I faced a major car accident that left me with severe injuries, including a broken back, elbow, wrist, knee problems, vertigo, and a concussion. My confidence was shattered, and I was challenged both mentally and physically to recover. Through physical therapy and recovery, I discovered my love for lifting weights. Fast forward about 15 years, and I’m still on my fitness journey, now teaching others how to stay positive and energetic through life's curveballs. Before founding my first business in 2021, I worked as a Finance Manager for a dealership and an Industrial Trades Manager for a staffing company. Building my own business from the ground up, while managing wifey and mama duties, taught me the importance of efficient and timely workouts. I know it’s possible to get and stay in shape as a working mother—if I can do it, so can you! I have all the resources, tips, and tricks to help you get into shape while balancing everything as a mom, wife, and career woman. My goal is to teach my clients how to eat and train sustainably around their busy schedules. I understand that life is full of careers, kids, family, sports, work events, grocery shopping, and daily home tasks. These responsibilities can interfere with your health goals, but my job is to help you incorporate simple habits into your daily routine. By doing so, you won't miss out on the benefits of living a healthy and fulfilling life—and hopefully, we’ll share some laughs along the way.
